Other news

- Despite the controversy surrounding "The Path to 9/11," it aired tonight and the world continued to turn (although it did see some editing). Even less shocking, it sucked. A friend (noted cultural historian Austin Woods) shares: "I find it very weird that '24' comes off as more realistic than a movie that is supposed to be based on true events." Although how much can you dislike something with Jimmy James as counter-terrorism expert Richard Clarke?

- Apparently, Patton Oswalt is among the...many? that loooove "The Wire." How much? Thiiiiis much.

- Jenna Fischer, Dunder-Mifflin's Pam Beesley, has updated her MySpace blog (it's really her - a novel concept for MySpace) with some season 3 pictures. There's some discourse in the comments about whether or not a wedding ring was edited out from a picture of Roy - HMM. Whether or not the actor who plays Roy is married and was just wearing his own ring between takes was not really considered. Apparently Rashida Jones is joining the cast, who I will never forgive for bailing out on "Stella" after one episode (probably a good career move).

- Heard "The Final Countdown" on a Diet Pepsi commercial today. Gob's influence will live forever. Come on.

- David Bromstad won HGTV's "Design Star," aka my mother's favorite reality show. I'm sure we're all excited for him to host one of many completely indistinguishable design shows.
